Exploring Central Banking and Financial Literacy
The main session of the visit featured three educational topics delivered by the Bank Indonesia team.
The first topic introduced students to Central Banking and the BI Library, explaining the role and functions of Bank Indonesia as the nation’s central bank and how its literacy facilities support public education.
The second session highlighted “Cinta, Bangga, Paham (Love, Proud, and Understand) Rupiah,” teaching students how to recognize authentic currency, take care of it, and use it wisely fostering a sense of pride in Indonesia’s national currency.

The final session introduced QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard), familiarizing students with Indonesia’s modern digital payment system. Each topic was presented interactively, encouraging students to think critically and participate actively through question and answer sessions.
The visit concluded with a closing ceremony, marking the end of a day filled with meaningful insights about banking, currency, and financial systems a valuable learning experience that supports SD Laboratorium UNG’s mission to prepare a generation that is both smart and financially responsible.
